WATCH PPPA MEMBER, LYNN DI VITO, COMPETE IN THE JEOPARDY QUARTER FINALS JANUARY 23RD
Last year we distributed a Blast article about Lynn Di Vito, a PPPA member who had been selected to compete on the quiz show, Jeopardy! The Board just received an update from her. She competed in the Jeopardy quarter finals! Here is what she had to say:
"Happy New Year!
My 2024 is starting out with some exciting news – I just spent the best three days of my life in Los Angeles as a participant in the Jeopardy! Season 39 Champions Wildcard competition. Getting to go to the Alex Trebek stage again was thrilling, and meeting and playing with other champions was a dream come true.
This time the host was Ken Jennings, and he’s really great on camera, of course, but also when the cameras are off.
The Jeopardy! staff took excellent care of us, flying us out there, putting us up in The Culver Hotel (look it up!) and taking us in a van back and forth to the studio. The other contestants couldn’t have been more wonderful, fun, kind, etc. etc. So now I have a new group of Jeopardy! friends, and even an invitation to one player’s backyard in Ohio for the eclipse in April!
It's a quick turnaround this time: air dates for this Champions Wildcard run from January 16 through February 2, and my quarter final will be on Tuesday, January 23 (6:30 p.m. on KKTV Channel 11).
