  PPPA MEMBERS COMPETE IN USA PICKLEBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Several of our members traveled to Dallas to the USA Pickleball National Championships this past week.  That, in itself, is a great accomplishment and our congratulations to those who were there to participate. 

Paula Hough is one of those members.  She competed in Women’s singles and after losing her first match, she fought her way back through the loser’s bracket to make it to the gold medal match.  She came in second place and won silver, narrowly losing to the woman who won gold! 

Congratulations, Paula, on a job well done!

PPPA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

  NEW CREDIT CARD PROCESSING SYSTEM

Starting on Tuesday, November 14^th, PPPA will be testing a new credit card processing system.  The new system will integrate more closely with the PPPA website and will bypass PayPal.  You will not need to set up a different username and password to submit a credit card charge – your existing PPPA user name and password will work just fine!  You can choose to save your credit card information to your PPPA profile if you want.  If you do, your credit card information is not stored on the PPPA website, it is stored at the bank for better security. 

Your Board has heard the complaints some members have had with PayPal and has been working for the last several months to find a solution. 

Your feedback is very important.  If you run a credit card charge through the PPPA website, please send any comments you have to treasurer@pikespeakpickleball.com
