PPPA – WEEKLY EMAIL BLAST
In this week's blast:
We just received our check from the King Soopers Rewards Program for the last quarter and it continues to grow. Thank you to everyone that has already enrolled! That $418 came from only 46 households! With over 1,000 active members, there is great potential to increase that quarterly amount. If you have not yet enrolled, please do so. You can recruit family members and friends to sign up too. It won’t cost them anything but will greatly benefit PPPA and our members. To enroll, see the details below.
In case you were unaware, the courts have been poured and the fencing is starting to go up!
That being said, we have had a few delays of late and I’m sorry to say that the courts will not be completed until Spring.
Here’s why: In order to put the acrylic surface coating (ACR) on the courts, we need to have a solid 3 days with night-time temperatures above 35 degrees. If we do not have those temperatures, the ACR will NOT adhere correctly.
In addition to that, the concrete has to cure for a 30-day period prior to adding the surface coating, which means that the coating cannot be started until mid-November.
While it is a setback, I’m sure that you understand that we want to have a high-quality product. By waiting until spring to apply the acrylic surface coating, we will minimize durability issues in the future so we can all enjoy many years of play at this new venue.
If you have any questions, please email us at email@example.com.
